1. Arias Under The Stars: A
Gala Performance
The CRS Barn Studio, home of Opera Cowpokes, is pleased to announce
"Arias Under The Stars", a gala performance of beloved arias and
favorite operatic ensembles. The gala takes place on Sunday, August 1,
2004
at 7:30 pm, at the CRS Barn Studio, 2622 North Triphammer Road, Ithaca.
Arias Under The Stars offers a lush and entertaining program, performed
by well-known singers of the Fingerlakes and Southern Tier regions.
Featured artists include Steven Stull, Linda Larson, Todd Geer, David
Neal, George Cordes, Elizabeth Cordes, Ivy Gaibel, Roland Burks, Robin
Bricker, John Isenburg and more of your favorite performers!
The CRS Barn outdoor auditorium provides a visually beautiful setting
overlooking Cayuga Lake, with a full view of the sunset. (In case of
rain, the performance will be held indoors.)
Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students and senior
citizens, and can be purchased at the door one-half hour before
curtain. Advance tickets are available for $12 and $8 at the CRS
Growers booth, Ithaca Farmers Market. For more information, please

2. Moving/ Images/ Moving: A Concert of Original Paintings and Dances
August 12 and 13, 2004 at 8:00 pm
Not your average gallery opening, this multidisciplinary event opens
with a premiere viewing of works in oil and watercolor by Steven Stull.
The concert continues with a “living gallery” performance
of original dances conceived and choreographed as portraits, landscapes
and sculptures in motion. Live music will be performed by mezzo soprano
Ivy Gaibel and baritone Steven Stull. Dancers and choreographers
include: Sarah Jane Burton, Donna Davenport, Jeanne Goddard, Karen
Koyanagi and Jean McGregor.
